It is with great excitement, and after a lot of work, that I am announcing my new photography journey; I will now be diving into the beautiful world of birth photography with my Birth Story and First Hours packages.

The birth of a baby is the most beautiful, emotional, and magical time in life. My love of all things birth started before my daughter was born in 2010, and it grew even greater after she had arrived. Reading everything I could about birth; the wonderful books by Ina May Gaskin, the website www.birthwithoutfearblog.com, hearing other mamas birth stories, and then seeing all the beautiful photos that went along with these, oh my. Birth photography has captivated me since I started my journey into exploring all things birthing. The most amazing photographs of women at their strongest, daddies at their softest, and babies at their newest; it is something I have known for quite some time that I wanted to do for people.

I have recently completed a wonderful doula course, and have learnt so much about the physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects of birthing. This is something that I felt was very important to complete before stepping into the sacred birthing space of a woman. learning all that I have through this course has made my passion for birth grow even stronger, and really affirmed that this is very much an area I want to be involved in. Birth should be treated with such respect, and capturing your birth story is an honour that I will put my whole heart into.
